DoorBlade

Arcalian's DoorBlade system is a simple, yet efficient method of having an open doorway, which....

 - allows personnel and vehicles unhindered access

 - prevents dust, odours and other contaminants entering

 - maintains a constant temperature, regardless of the outside conditions

Unlike a supermarket's gentle warm air blower at the store's entrance, the DoorBlade creates an effective seal by re-circulating the facility air in a laminar (smooth) flow across an open doorway. The kinetic energy in the moving air generates a barrier, like a waterfall, that prevents leakage of air and particulates between two areas with different pressure and climate, creating up to a 90% seal.

Highly energy efficient - for an external door, for every one unit of energy the DoorBlade consumes in maintaining a seal, it saves on average 15 units of energy through lost heat or air-conditioned air. Detailed calculations based on your own facility are available.
